Brushed finish on Granite (http://tanbrown.org)

I saw a what the dealer called a brushed finish on Slabs (http://www.VerdeUbatuba.com) of dark green Granite (http://tanbrown.org) with white streaks. It was quite textured with highs and (http://maplered.com) lows on the surface. It is matt on the highs and (http://maplered.com) satiny finish on the low areas. It is exactly what I want but I want it on a light colored Granite (http://tanbrown.org) I saw in Williston, Vermont. I don't care for the highly polished look and (http://maplered.com) the dealer said a honed finish will not bring out the Colors (http://www.g640.net) in the Granite (http://tanbrown.org) I've chosen. The name of the Granite (http://tanbrown.org) name he gave me is dimentia but I didn't find it on the internet. Is it possible to get this antiqued type look on a multi-colored Granite (http://tanbrown.org) using the brush & knife technique that is used on the black Granite (http://tanbrown.org) s?
